The Gem
Thursday 19 April at 1045 | In Humour, Life | 10 CommentsOr “If the messenger had a gun he’d shoot himself.”
It’s only been a few days at my new job and I have already found a hidden gem to pass away working hours.
On the work’s intranet they have a link to a page that has customer comments. So everyone in the company can see what people think.
It’s very addictive reading. I’m hooked. And it goes back to 2005. Yessssssssss

Oh I’m not sure I would like that. If someone said something horrible about me I would have to hunt them down! Not for anything bad but for them to explain themselves.

I think I read about that. There is a book in the BBC where all the complaints are logged.
Apparently there is one complaint asking, “Is Blue Peter trying to turn our children into communists?” All because one of the presenters was wear a t shirt with Che Guevara on it.
Fanatastic!

I only freelance for them now, so I can’t access it anymore either. It was really funny though – mainly because of the weird view some people have of what the BBC is or should be.
